Allison Holzer, Partner

Over the last 20+ years, Allison has been an executive coach and leadership advisor, author, entrepreneur and educator. Her passion is working with leaders to build awareness, gain strategic insights and make empowered choices that drive intentional growth and success. She works with leaders to harness the intersecting lenses of transformational leadership, innovation, and strategy as they empower their teams and accelerate organizational growth.

Allison cares deeply about clients, creating trusting relationships by understanding how they define success and what they need to learn, do and change to achieve it. She is passionate about redefining how leaders engage with a full range of emotions—not as obstacles, rather as strategic insights that drive great leadership and, ultimately, positive organizational impact. Her coaching is fundamentally focused on bringing out the best in people by aligning purpose with performance, cultivating resilient cultures, and equipping leaders to thrive through uncertainty and growth. Allison has worked with a range of clients ranging from CEOs, functional executives, and global leaders. Allison’s professional experience spans industries including healthcare, higher education, biopharma, technology, consumer goods, and financial services. Across these different groups and industries, Allison draws from her background in emotional intelligence, applied positive psychology, original research (featured in her book Dare to Inspire) on inspirational leadership, creativity and innovation, and change management.

As a thought leader, Allison’s research and ideas have been featured in TED.com (2x TEDx speaker), Chief Executive Magazine, Chief Learning Magazine, Thrive Global, Forbes and Fortune. She has published academic articles with scholars at Yale University, Columbia University, Hunter College and the University of Casilla-La Mancha on coaching, leadership, and applied positive psychology. She is also a faculty speaker and executive coach for Executive Education, MBA and eMBA programs at Yale School of Management and Dartmouth Tuck School of Business. She has taught and coached on topics such as strengths-based leadership, influence and storytelling, emotional intelligence and agility, women’s leadership, inspirational leadership, the power of unstructured time, and leading innovation initiatives.

Allison and her husband, Paul, love raising their two boys in the closeknit community of Simsbury, CT. She enjoys painting, singing, working out at Orangetheory fitness, managing her son’s soccer team, traveling to the UK, and being a devoted cat mom to their Siberians, Enzo and Echo
